Course Description:
This Interpretation and Implementation Course provides practical techniques for planning, implementing and monitoring the effectiveness of sustainable practices based on the requirements of MS 2530: 2022. The Malaysian Sustainable Palm Oil (MSPO) Standard is applicable to all organisations within the supply chain of palm oil production – comprising independent and organised smallholders’ plantation, millers, refineries, kernel crushing plants, as well as those involved in the storage, transportation, distribution, management system development and any palm oil-related operations.

This MSPO MS 2530:2022 – Internal Audit Course aims to educate participants on the effective approaches for auditing MS 2530:2022. The course’s main objective is to guide internal auditors on the MSPO Standard’s requirements – with specific focus on auditing in conformance with MS 2530:2022. This includes the planning and preparation for audits, audit practices and procedures as well as the reporting of audit findings. It is important to note that an Internal Audit is crucial in identifying the standard requirements of MS 2530:2022, to highlight areas for improvement and implement any necessary corrective action/s.

Palm Oil (MSPO) certification. The course will cover the requirements outlined in MS 2530:2022,
focusing on auditing techniques, principles, and practices essential for ensuring compliance with
sustainability standards in the palm oil industry. Participants will gain insights into the MSPO
certification process, audit planning, conducting audits, and reporting findings in accordance
with international standards in accordance with ISO 19011:2018 and ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015
standards.
